Invisible Girl

       Hey guys

So today I am going to talk about the book Invisible Girl by Mary Hanlon Stone. This book is super inspiring!!! Also, a really big point in this story is to not EVER be afraid to speak up and be yourself!

When Stephanie is abandon by her mother in Boston, her dad sends her away to Los Angeles to live with Annie and her very wealthy family. As Stephanie hangs out with Annie's friends, she thinks that she has to lie to fit in...so that is what she does. No one knows the real her and she is tortured. But then a new girl shows up and Annie's queenbee status is on the brink of extinction. Although this girl is shy, she is confident with who she is and won't let Annie and her followers change her.

I really loved this book! It is so hard for girls and guys both to stand up for themselves. They think that the only choice they have is what is infront of them and they don't realize that there is always a way out. Stone does a great job of presenting a girl who is just like this (see above) and countering her with a self confident girl who is incharge of her own life.

                           See you tomorrow!
