So I am just going to jump right in and say that I absolutely ADORE the book Evermore by Alyson Noel. It is such an amazing story about love, loss, tragedy, and obsession. I literally just finished reading it and came right up to blog.
Sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom is living with her aunt after her family died in a car crash. She was the only survivor. Ever can see peoples auras, hear thoughts, and know someones entire life with only one touch. Ever hates it and just wants to be normal. She hides behind sweatshirts and ear buds, to drown out peoples thought and to avoid contact.
Then she encounters Damen, a new transfer student who is unmistakably hot and has everyone in love with him... including Ever. Ever feels some strange pull towards Damen. He is the only one who can silence a whole room when he talks and makes her skin tingle. As Ever is drawn deeper into his world, she learns and sees stuff that will change her and everyone around her forever.
Alyson does a fantastic job of really connecting you with the characters and their story. I can NOT wait to read the second book in this passionate series!!!
