The Mark

        Hey guys!

I am sorry that I haven't blogged in a while! It's that with trying to write a book and school and lazyness, I just haven't had time. So,The Mark by Jen Nadol is today's book.

Sixteen-yearold Cassndra Renfield has always seen the Mark. A kind-of hazy glow around certain people telling her that they will die that day. Now, living with the aunt she never knew about and havig a phylosiphy-loving boyfriend, she tries to explore it more. If she can stop it and how. But the most important, If you know they're giong to die, do you tell them?

I remember this book being just fine. It wasn't really special or got my heart racing. There might have been a page or two that I really wanted to turn to find out what happened, but that was it. All in all, though, It's still just fine.

Firelight

      Hey guys!

Firelight by Sophie Jordan. One word. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Jacinda is a draki- a descendant of dragons whose greatest defense is changing into a human. Her every move is watched very severely because she is the first fire-breather in her pride for hundreds of years. They have her whole life panned out for her. But, when she breaks the most sacred tenet of her pride, a gorgeous stranger- who was supposed to hunt her- helps her get out with her life. Now, forced to escape to the mortal world, Jacinda just cannot get used to her surroundings. The only up is Will. But, the one person who makes her inner draki stir, may just be the one she needs to be afraid of.

This book is glorious! There is never a dull moment in it! It is full of surprises you would never see coming, and is full of heart wrenching betrayal, love, and is deeply captivating!

A Touch Mortal

          Hey guys!

I cannot wait to tell you about A Touch Mortal by Leah Clifford!

Eden would have thought she'd meet Az in a million years. Their instant connection and his pick-up line caught her attention, but it was his wings that shocked her. Their wonderful time together was just that, wonderful. Eden knew, though, that it had to end. Now, stuck between life and death, Eden will do anything to survive. She may be betrayed, and lose everything, but she will always have her heart to keep her on the right track.

I absolutely LOVED this book! The emotion it got out of me is just what a book should do. It was very intense and confusing at some parts, but overall amazing!

Puppy Love

                Hey guys!

Today's book, Puppy Love by Nancy Krulik, was a short read.

Alana, a senior, walks overly pampered dogs so she can make money for college. But, as Alana is making new friends, her already-freshman-in-college boyfriend is keeping her on a tight leash. Maybe that is why she is talking about her future with uber hot handyman, Connor. Alana starts to wonder if Sammy is still the right fit for her, or should she move on to some guy she doesn't know a lot about?

To be honest, I didn't really take this book seriously. I mean, it was a good book, but it was just something to read, not something I couldn't wait to read. As far as that goes though, the story was very strait forward and pleasant.

The Body Finder

                 Hey guys!

Sitting here watching the U.S.A beating China's butt in volleyball. ( China is really good, though!)Today's book is The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting.

Sixteen-year-old Violet Ambrose is not like other teenagers. For one thing, she can sense dead people/animals. So when the bodies of missing girls start to-with her help-appear, she is determined to find the killer. Meanwhile, Violet starts to develop intimate feelings for Jay, her best friend since childhood and hopes that he feels the same when he agrees to help her find the killer. Can Violet bring justice to the killer, or will the killer find her first?

I just really loved this book! It was very mysterious and kept me on the edge of my seat. Derting gave me a very generous depiction of all of the characters, and made the book very entertaining!

         See you tomorrow!
